Welcome to the English Section I was born on 3th July 1961 in Brno. I studied the violin
at the conservatory of Brno at the prof. Kyncl and prof. Novotný.
We have always performed music in my family but only me have it
as a regular job. After my studies I played in the theatre orchestra
in Jihlava. Since 1991 I have been member of the Westbohemian Symphony
Orchestra of Marienbad as a violin player.
I´ve a son JakubYou can
see him in the part Photogalery. I´m visiting
him frequently. In June 2007 I have married Zuzana.
I like football, I´m a football referee. I learn Italian and German and now I´m beginning with the English and French.
In June 2004 the composition Melancholy was executed by the Symphony Orchestra of Youths under the conductor Tomáš Krejčí the in the concert hall of Besední dům in Brno. The composition was played as the first piece and the audition has admired its consonant atmosphere.
The Violin Concert a moll "From the Summer" was performed in premiere on 17 February 2006 in the concert hall Casino in Mariánské Lázně. The soloist Funihito Terada (Japan) was accompanied by the Westbohemian Symphony Orchestra of Mariánské Lázně under the chief conductor Michael Roháč. The soloist has performed with deeply felt enthusiasm and the full auditorium has excitedly welcomed the composition with great applause. The concert was followed by all the regional media (TV, newspapers, radio).
In February and March 2006 the composition Rondo Pazzesco was performed as part of the concert for youths in Cheb and Mariánské Lázně. Rondo Pazzesco is a crazy parody on non comprehensible contemporary music, the author jokes on what the other have composed seriously. The players yawn, the conductor couches, the trombones snore and in the end the whole orchestra lets out kisses to the audience. The young visitors enjoyed the production with great fun.
During his tourney in July 2006 in Japan the duo Fumihito Terada – violin, Michal Rezek – piano has performed on 6 concerts amongst others two compositions of Peter Scheck. The first piece – Semplice was given in the first part and the arrange of the composition Melancholy was performed as additional piece. Both compositions were warmly welcomed by the thankful Japanese audience with frenetic applause.
Great attention of all media enjoyed also the premiere of Capriccio for Violin, Horn and Orchestra performed on 16 Mars 2007 in the theatre hall in Mariánské Lázně. The soloist the First Horn of the Czech Philharmonics Ondřej Vrabec and the Deputy Concert Violon of FOK Prague Monika Vrabcová have ensured high artistic level of the performance. They were accompanied by the Westbohemian Symphony Orchestra and the conductor was this time the author Peter Scheck himself. The audience, out of which many of young people, has welcomed the modernized composition with great understanding.
For the 2 May 2008 the premiere of the composition for symphony orchestra The Lullabye for Loveable Dogs is scheduled. The performance will also be farewell of Peter Scheck from Mariánské Lázně. The author is moving to join his wife in Brussels where he intends to continue with his composition activities. The composition will be performed by the Westbohemian Symphony Orchestra under the chief conductor Michael Roháč.
For the next year the premiere of composition for symphony orchestra with dominant piano The Sinner's Eyes is scheduled.
